# Klove FAQ: prompt monitoring, agentic pages, and pricing

> Answers to common questions about Klove prompt monitoring, agentic pages, Cloudflare setup, pricing, and AI visibility tracking across platforms.

Klove is an AI Search Optimisation (AEO) platform that helps brands become visible in AI-generated answers. Whether you are evaluating Klove, setting it up for the first time, or troubleshooting an issue, this page answers the most common questions our customers ask.

## Platform & monitoring

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Does Klove change what human visitors see on my site?">
    No. Klove's Agentic Pages are served exclusively to detected AI crawlers and agents. Human visitors always receive your normal website — your design, UX, and conversion flow are completely untouched. The two experiences are served in parallel at the edge: AI bots get a clean, structured version; humans get everything as it was.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Why does Klove use real browser sessions instead of AI vendor APIs?">
    API responses from AI vendors differ significantly from what real users actually see in those companies' live products. AI applications apply different model versions, live web retrieval, personalisation, and response formatting in their consumer apps compared to what they expose through their APIs. A monitoring tool that relies purely on API calls can report citations that real users never see — or miss genuine mentions that are happening at scale. Klove runs every prompt through real browser sessions, the same way a person would, so your dashboard reflects the actual answers your customers encounter.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Which AI platforms does Klove monitor?">
    Klove monitors the major AI platforms where buyer research is happening: **ChatGPT**, **Perplexity**, **Google AI Overviews**, **Gemini**, **Claude**, **DeepSeek R1**, **Grok**, and **Llama**. Platform coverage is expanding — if you need a specific platform prioritised, contact the team before signing up and they can confirm current support.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How often does Klove run prompt monitoring?">
    Klove monitors your prompts on a **daily cadence** by default. Each of your tracked prompts is run every day across your selected AI platforms via real browser sessions, capturing fresh responses. This daily frequency is important because AI answers change frequently as models update and live search results shift — a weekly or monthly snapshot would miss meaningful changes in your visibility.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How long does it take to see data after setup?">
    Most teams see their first monitoring data within **a few hours** of completing setup. Once you have connected your domain, defined your prompts, and selected your AI platforms, Klove begins the first monitoring run. The initial run may take a little longer than subsequent daily runs. Agentic page visits from AI crawlers can take up to 24 hours to appear, depending on when those crawlers next visit your site.

## Agentic Pages & Cloudflare

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Do I need Cloudflare to use Klove?">
    Cloudflare is required for **Agentic Pages** — the feature that intercepts AI crawler requests and serves them an optimised version of your site. The Klove edge middleware runs as a Cloudflare Worker.

    **Prompt Monitoring** and **Competitive Intelligence** do not require Cloudflare and work independently of your website's infrastructure. You can start monitoring your AI visibility right away and add Agentic Pages later once Cloudflare is set up.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I monitor multiple brands or domains?">
    Yes. Klove uses a workspace model — each workspace is tied to a brand and domain. You can create multiple workspaces to monitor different brands, product lines, or client sites from the same Klove account. Agency plans and Enterprise accounts are designed specifically for multi-brand and multi-client management.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Is serving a different page to AI bots considered cloaking?">
    No. Cloaking involves deceiving a search engine by hiding content or presenting fundamentally different information to manipulate rankings. Agentic Pages do the opposite: they present the same substance and truth as your human-facing pages, formatted in a way AI systems can actually parse. There is no hidden content, no deception, and no manipulation of ranking signals. Klove is built to keep human and AI experiences consistent in message and accuracy.

## Pricing & billing

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Is there a free trial?">
    Klove does not offer a time-limited free trial. Instead, there is a **permanently free AI traffic analytics tier**: install the Cloudflare Worker on your site and you will immediately start seeing which AI bots are crawling your pages, which URLs they visit, and how often — at no cost, forever. This gives you real data about your AI traffic before you commit to a paid plan.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What happens if I exceed my prompt limit?">
    If you reach your plan's prompt limit, you can still view data for your existing prompts but you will not be able to add new ones until you remove an existing prompt or upgrade to a higher plan. Klove will notify you when you are approaching your limit so you can plan ahead.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What are agent credits and when are they used?">
    Agent credits are consumed when **Agent Flows** run automated workflows. Each action within a workflow — such as scraping a page, generating agentic page content, analysing prompt results, or drafting outreach — uses a number of credits proportional to its complexity. Credits reset monthly with your billing cycle. You can monitor your credit usage from the Agent Flows dashboard at any time. If you exhaust your credits mid-month, active workflows will pause until the next reset or until you upgrade.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How do I cancel my subscription?">
    Go to **Settings → Billing** and click **Manage billing** to open the billing portal. From there you can cancel your subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access until that date. Your historical data is kept for 90 days after cancellation before being permanently deleted.

## Data & results

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="What exactly does Klove measure in prompt monitoring?">
    For each prompt you track, Klove captures: whether your brand is mentioned in the AI response, your **position** within that response (first mention, second, etc.), the **sentiment** of the description (positive, neutral, or negative), the **sources** the AI cited to build its answer, and your **share of voice** relative to competitors mentioned in the same response. This gives you a complete picture of not just whether you are cited, but how you are described and what sources are driving those citations.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Why do my visibility scores look different across AI platforms?">
    Each AI platform has a different model, retrieval system, and way of answering questions. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Gemini may all give different answers to the same prompt — some may cite you, others may not. Klove tracks these separately so you can see exactly where you are strong and where you have gaps. It is entirely normal for your visibility to vary significantly across platforms, especially early in your AEO journey.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I track how competitors are cited?">
    Yes. Klove's **Competitive Intelligence** feature tracks how any brand in your category is cited, positioned, and described across AI platforms. You can see their share of voice, the sources AI is pulling from on their behalf, and the sentiment attached to their mentions — giving you a detailed map of where to focus your own content and citation-building efforts.
