# Track your brand visibility across AI search platforms

> Prompt Monitoring tracks how AI assistants like ChatGPT and Perplexity mention your brand in real user queries, using real browser sessions.

Prompt Monitoring is Klove's core measurement layer. It runs the prompts your customers actually type into AI platforms — daily, across every major model — and records exactly whether your brand appears, where it ranks, how it's described, and which sources the AI relied on to build its answer.

## Why real browser sessions matter

This distinction is critical: AI products apply different models, retrieval pipelines, live web access, and personalisation layers in their consumer apps than they expose through APIs. An API-based tracker can report you're being cited when a real user would never see that mention — or miss a citation entirely. Klove's browser-based approach reflects the actual answers your audience sees.

## What Prompt Monitoring tracks

Every time Klove runs a prompt, it captures a full set of metrics so you can measure, compare, and act on your AI search presence.

Cited sources are the new backlinks. Knowing which pages AI platforms trust in your category tells you exactly where to earn presence next.

## Platform coverage

Klove monitors the platforms where AI-driven discovery is actually happening. Coverage runs daily across:

On the **Essentials** plan you can monitor across 3 AI models. The **Pro** plan extends coverage to 5 models. Enterprise plans support custom model selection.

## Monitoring cadence

Klove checks your prompts on a **daily cadence**. AI answers shift frequently as models update, retrieval results change, and new sources enter the index. A weekly or monthly cadence would miss movement entirely. Daily checks let you see whether a content change, a new citation, or a competitor move has affected your visibility — and act before the window closes.

## How to add prompts

    Click **Add Prompt**, then type or paste the query you want to track. Write it the way a real buyer would — conversational, intent-driven phrasing outperforms keyword strings.

    Select the country whose AI results you want to monitor. Essentials plans track 1 country; Pro plans track up to 3.

  <Step title="Choose your AI models">
    Select which platforms to run the prompt across. Klove will suggest the highest-value platforms for your category based on its crawl data.

  <Step title="Save and activate">
    Click **Save**. Klove will run the first check within 24 hours and surface results in your dashboard. Subsequent checks run daily from that point forward.

## What to do with prompt data

Prompt Monitoring feeds the rest of the Klove platform. When a prompt shows low visibility or negative sentiment, the **Moves** engine automatically surfaces recommended on-page and off-page actions — content to create, sources to earn mentions in, agentic pages to update. You measure the gap, then act on it, without leaving Klove.
